Daniel MacDonald

I am a Sound Recording Technology Student at UMass Lowell and also a freelance Mixing Engineer in Lowell. I am going in to my senior year at school and I am currently working on many projects such as live sessions and studio recordings with Lowell and Boston based indie bands. I love to use analog gear whether it's for outboard effects or just to get my hands dirty on a large format console. My approach to mixing is bring transparency and organicism to the music while at the same time introducing textures and environments to the listener that enhance the musical part as well as to create an interesting listening experience.
