Solar guitars just launched its new E1 series E1.6D LTD – Natural Aged / Distressed Limited Edition electric guitar. If you’re looking for a guitar with a perfect and smooth finish, then this model is not for you. The new Solar E1.6D LTD edition guitar features a natural aged alder body, maple neck, ebony fingerboard, and a set-thru/body joint with 24.75″ scale length. In terms of electronics, E1.6D LTD incorporates Duncan / Solar bridge and neck pickups.
Solar E1.6D Features
If you take a look at the design, you will find a lot of imperfections on the new Solar E1.6D LTD. However, these imperfections are the salient features of this limited edition electric guitar. Since E1.6D LTD comes with aged wood finish and distressed hardware, you will be able to spot wood streaks, paint buildups, dings, discolorations, body joints, and hardware finish imperfections. All these things contribute to a unique look that this guitar boasts.
To ensure that the guitar stays in tune, Solar E1.6D LTD makes use of the Evertune constant tension bridge. The Duncan Solar bridge and neck pickups help the E1.6D to achieve maximum sustain and clarity in the sound. Supporting a C-shape maple neck, this guitar offers a comfortable playing experience for long durations. Just like other Solar guitars, Solar E1.6D LTD also features Luminlay “glow in the dark” side dots.
With the 3-way toggle switch, you can experiment different pickup positions on the E1.6D. In addition, the tone control knob also offers a push/pull mechanism to provide even more sound options.
