Meet the new Kiesel Type-V TV6 headless electric guitar that comes with an Alder body, Eastern Hardrock Maple neck, Ebony fingerboard, & Kiesel Lithium humbucking pickups. Kiesel Type-V is the amalgamation of the new Type-X and the classic Ultra-V series guitars.
Kiesel Type-V TV6 Design & Construction
Body
Just like the Type-X X6, the new Type-V TV6 headless guitar features an aggressively-beveled offset V body style. In addition, it also shares the same size and weight as the Type-X X6. Supporting an Alder body, Kiesel TV6 is able to deliver a bright and clear tone without being harsh. Alder is also light in weight and resonates more.
Optional body woods such as Mahogany, Walnut, and Koa are also available for the new Kiesel Type-V TV6 headless electric guitar. Furthermore, you can add exotic top woods such as AAAA flamed maple, AAAA quilted maple, flamed koa, and California Claro walnut.
Neck & Fingerboard
Kiesel TV6 incorporates an Eastern Hardrock Maple neck with a gloss finish. If Maple is not your thing, you have other neck wood choices such as Koa or Mahogany. On top of that, there is also an option to customize the back with either satin or tung-oil finish. With the help of a 2-way adjustable truss rod, you can easily adjust the string action of the TV6. And the dual carbon-fiber rods provide additional stability and endurance to the guitar.
The sturdy neck-through design provides greater sustain and allows Kiesel Type-V TV6 headless guitar to stay longer in tune. Thanks to its smooth neck heel that allows for easy access to the higher register of the fingerboard.
Kiesel Type-V TV6 features an ebony fingerboard with a standard 25.5″ scale size and white pearl dot inlays. Again, there are several options available for the fingerboard including:
- Rosewood
- Maple, Birdseye Maple
- Flamed Maple
- Royal Ebony
- Zebrawood
Additionally, options for fingerboard inlays are also available that include:
- Dot
- Block
- Diamond inlays
All of the three fingerboard inlays options in Kiesel TV6 are available in mother-of-pearl or genuine abalone, as well as in acrylic colors.
Pickups
In terms of electronics, the Kiesel Type-V TV6 headless electric guitar uses the direct mount Kiesel K12 Lithium humbucking pickups. Via the 5-way lever-style pickup selector, you can experiment with different tones.
