Blackstar HT Club 40 MkII Black & Blue Guitar Amp Features
The Blackstar Black & Blue is a 40-watt combo guitar amp. It’s a light blue color with cream-colored accents and a tan basketweave fret. The chicken head knobs make it clear to see what your settings are at-a-glance. This boutique-style look gives off a vintage vibe that lives up to the Special Edition title.
Blackstar’s HT Club 40 MkII Black & Blue amp’s vintage 6L6 tubes along with the Celestial Vintage 30 speaker and patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) provide a powerful, yet crystal-clear sound. The 6L6 tubes are able to handle high-powered sound while adding warmth and without losing clarity. It can handle high levels of distortion without losing the quality of sound, making the Black & Blue amp a great option for a variety of styles.
You can customize this sound using the ISF feature that manipulates the EQ. The sound can range from a clean, tight American sound to a looser, warmer British sound. Blackstar’s Black & Blue amp’s sound is further customizable with a dark/light reverb switch, OD equalization, and two channels with two voices each. Each Black & Blue amp comes with a foot pedal that allows you to switch between channels and voices with ease. To hear an example of these voices, click here.
