Fender Champion 100 XL: A Great All-Round Guitar Amp

Fender just introduced a new contemporary-digital amplifier to its Champion Series. It features 16 Amp tones along with 12 effects. To produce a full open sound, Fender Champion 100 XL uses two 12” Celestion “Midnight 60” speakers with 100 Watts of amplification power.

This Fender guitar amp supports two channels, one of which controls the clean tones whereas the other aims at different types of distortions. A Tap button is also available to adjust the delay and modulation tempo settings. With the help of a 2 button footswitch, you can control channel selections and effects on/off.

Fender Champion 100 XL also provides 4 stompbox effects such as compression, overdrive, distortion, and octaver. The 16 Amp tones in this amp range from clean to full metal. On each channel, there are 12 classic effects such as reverb, delay, chorus, vibratone, tremolo, etc.

To offer additional connections, this Fender amp offers Pre out, Power in, Aux-in, and Headphone-out. It comes in a new black look which Fender calls “Black on Black”. It weighs around 40lbs(18.2Kg). The cabinet is made up of 7-Ply 3/4″ Medium-Density Fibreboard.
