JBL EON ONE Compact : Smallest & Loudest PA in its class

With the announcement of JBL EON ONE Compact PA Speaker, the company has brought us the smallest battery powered PA in its class. Don’t underestimate its loudness due to its size, it can go all the way up to 112dB. It incorporates 8″ Woofer that allow bass frequencies to reach 37.5hz.

This portable PA speaker supports a full featured 4-channel digital mixer that offers Lexicon inspired Delay, Reverb and Chorus effects.

Various connectivity options are available such as :

  • 2 x XLR combo jacks
  • 1 x Hi-Z Input
  • 1/8″ aux input

To give the ability to charge phones and tablets, JBL provided two USB Type-A ports. One of them is 5V 2A whereas is the other is 5V 1A. DJ controllers can also be powered with the USB connection.

Ducking Feature

An interesting feature in JBL EON ONE Compact is the ability to enable automatic ducking with just one tap. This is very helpful for corporate, fitness and music applications. To make any announcements, you don’t have to adjust the volumes manually, this battery powered PA speaker would do the work for you.

Mobile App

With the help of a mobile app, this speaker can do wonders. You can connect up to 4 speakers simultaneously from one device. Since it takes a lot of time for a musician to find the favorite settings, the mobile app will give the ability to save and recall the favorite parameters. Any changes to the app will reflect on hardware via Bluetooth controls.

JBL claims that it offers a strong battery backup. With a 2.5 hour charge the battery can run up to 12 hours. It offers tool-less battery removal and insertion.

It is not that heavy and even with a battery, it weighs under 18 lbs. EON ONE Compact is out for preorder now at $549. Check out JBL‘s Website for more information.
